This 1980s family home was ready for a refresh that honored its character while bringing it into the present. We replaced the dated brown trim with clean, modern white Craftsman-style trim and baseboards throughout both stories, instantly brightening and elevating the space. Doors were painted white for a cohesive, updated look, and the staircase was finished with new baseboards to tie everything together.

To preserve the home’s original warmth, we thoughtfully kept and enhanced select stained wood elements in the dining and living areas—highlighting doorways, bay windows, and custom features that nod to its mid-century roots. The result is a balanced blend of modern clarity and timeless character—fresh, refined, and still full of soul.
